R-6 TYPE RENOVATION

This R-6 was most likely built in M.Giles shipyard in 1927. The yacht hasn't been on the water for over a dozen years. R-6 type yachts belong to a large family of regatta yachts, starting with R-12 (America's Cup) through R-5.5. Three R-6 were moored in Gdynia: "Lotny", "Mat" and "Passat" a few decades ago and "Santa Maria" was moored in Gdansk.
